Gilt remains bright. A few visible marks to boards.

Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Boards are slightly bowed.

Circle cup-stain to upper board, spotting to top edge. Bands of tanning to feps, else, clean and tight. The Cornish author dedicated the collection to Edward Sackville-West: 'in our common passion for Cornwall'.
