Slight cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscription and stickers to front pastedown. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Light tanning to spine and edges. Sticker to front flap. Water staining to both panels. Light foxing overall.

Clean pale blue cloth boards, stamped gilt emblem and gilt titles on spine. Very light edge rubbing, spine ends bumped but all intact. Slightly tanned cut edges. Illustrated inside covers, faint foxing spots and to FFEP. Clean text block, fine b/w drawings including title page. Binding solid.
