Spine has red leather label with gilt lettering and tooled design. All edges have publisher's red, gilt inner dentelles behind covers. Slight foxing to the plates and offsetting therefrom. Other pages bright and unfoxed. Sporadic underlining in pencil. Lovely gift quality binding. 6 plates 527pp. Second edition. Overall VERY GOOD Sir Henry Steuart is most famous for inventing a transplanting machine which allowed the balling and transplanting of large ornimental trees.
