Published by George Routledge & Sons, Ltd, London, 1914, 2 volume set, 1st editions. Both green cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine and front board. Gilt map of Surrey and surrounding counties to front board. Teg. 11.25ins x 8.75ins. Vol one: xii, 324pp plus 47pp colour plates. Vol 2: xi, (i), 481pp plus 47pp colour plates. Thus in total there are 94 colour plates. The plates were illustrated by the author and are captioned on the tissue guards. Title pages printed in red and black. Previous owners signature to top of front free endpaper in both volumes. Half title page browned in both volumes. Last page of index in volume one very browned. Volume one has a closed split to the edge of the spine. G+ nr VG. Nb 3.7kg pre-packing, please enquire as to postage costs.
