Swallows and Amazon series; this is the last of the series set in the Lake District and features Peggy and Nancy Blackett and Dick and Dorothea Callum. 340pp. Green boards with gilt titles to spine and blind stamped title to the front. Illustrated by the author. Black and white frontis. Further black and white illustrations throughout. Colour map to endpapers. We have lots more Arthur Ransome books in stock. Green boards are clean and neat but slightly softened to spine ends. Clean and sound. Dust jacket is slightly tanned and it is worn to spine ends. The is also a V shaped chip to the front and a closed tear. Some dustiness and faint marks to the back of the dust jacket. Good+, sound copy in good dust jacket . Hardback. 1984.
