London: Bickers & Son, 1918. Hardcover. Very Good. Exceedingly scarce work of Arthur Scott Craven (pseud. of A. K. Harvey James), early 20th century actor and author, killed in battle in 1917. This work (58 pp.) publishes a letter (dated May, 1916) "Dear Tommy" (Thomas Leslie Graham, the book's dedicatee). The letters maintains a strong religious thrust throughout. Rare World War I book. Bound in three quarter leather and cloth. Top edge gilt. Cloth number label fixed to spine. Nice copy.
