1st edition. Large 8vo. ix+ (1) + 230pp. Publisher's green plain cloth covers, gilt lettering + cartouche on spine. Green boards with titles in gilt to spine. Slight bumping to top of spine. Some browning but a fine copy in a clipped Near Fine wrapper with a few small nicks, particularly at spine ends. A fresh copy showing no previous signs of ownership. The Tarner lectures for 1938. Dust-wrapper is now protected in a Mylar sleeve.
