London, 1731. First Edition . Full-Leather. Three volumes, all good to very good in the original calf binding. The front board is detached on all three volumes, with evidence of bookplate removals on the front pastedown of each front board. Spines on all three volumes have title label "Philosophical/Conversations" in gilt with black background. Fairly minor dampstaining to small areas at edges in each volume, all 89 copper plates appear to be present. Translated and with notes by Thomas Dale. Volume I contains 402 pages, volume II contains 414 pages, and volume III contains 342 pages.
