New York: The Homemaker's Encyclopedia, Inc, 1952 A nice solid book, dated ideas from the fifties of what women should do to keep themeselves slim, attractive and endearing! Decorated maroon front endpapers, 143 illustrations no marks or inscriptions. Green cloth covered boards with paste down picture of a woman. Gilt titles on front and slightly faded on spine. Watermark on front top right corner which has bleached the colour otherwise just normal shelfwear you would expect to see on a book this age. A fascinating insight to the fifties!
