Signed and inscribed by Author on limitation page. Number 32/1000. Copies were made available directly from the Author at an address in Florence, Italy. This history uses original correspondence and photographic reproductions to highlight rthe significant achievements of the earliest generations of William Pepperrells to arrive from England to America in the seventeenth century, originally settling at the Isles of Shoals off the Maine/New Hampshire coast, (then part of Massachusetts).The book's British author, historian Victoria Brown-Wilkinson offers a British perspective on the colonial period. Discussed are William Pepperell I (1648-1734); William Pepperell II ,"The Victor of Louisbourg" (1696-1759) , a key battle prior to the War for Independence; and William Pepperell III (b.1746). .
