The Arthur you meet in this book is a stranger. He is not at all like the King Arthur you remember from children's stories for from the film Camelot. He is the Pendragon, the warlord of Dark Age Britain who lead his people to a great victory over the invading Saxons and won for them a long age of peace that affected the course of Western civilization.
