Wrappers somewhat soiled and worn, with earlier owner's serviceable paper repair to spine; cheap paper pages rather browned, with scattered foxing. Fair to good. (Boshoff: French Publications on South Africa, 83) Original English title: White man's Africa. The American author "conceived a great admiration for Kruger, who, he says, 'is unique. There is no man of modern times with whom he may be compared ... '" - Mendelssohn .
