First edition, good maroon cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with gilt letter to cover and spine shows heavy wear to covers in the form of areas of rubbing, bumping to corners, wrinkling along spine, and some light soil, wear along hinges, numerous internal splits, separation to lower portion of couple the illustrated plates, foxing at page edges with bit of same makign its way into interior pages, name at front blank, marks at top corner of rear end paper and some other light trace wear. 532 pages with couple dozenn black & white plates and fold out maps at first page and rear. Solid and perfectly readable copy that will read well on the shelf of this work that "..is intended as a record of events in Morocco during the past two years as they have come under my personal observation. This period has been perhaps the most momentous and critical in the history of the country, and from it will surely date the decline of Morocco's independence." (From Preface).
