Leipzig: 1910, 8vo, 432pp, 39 plates, of which most are in colour, some folding or double sided, with additional maps and plans included in pagination to make up the 21 "Karen" and 56 "Plane und Grundriss" stated. Original limp red cloth boards, blocked with blind rules, spine and front board lettered direct in gilt, marbled edges. Some wear to extremities, particularly to bottom of front corner of spine, some marks and small puncture to front board.
The seventh and final German language edition of Baedeker's guide to the region which changed greatly in WWI, and the years immediately following.
