Light brown cloth binding, clean and unworn but light fading to sp. and back edges. ill. end-papers (different at each end), f/piece+ xi + 156, 19 plates ex-pagination, 7 text figs; author's small sig. top fr. end-paper (which has a tiny smudged blue spot as well), another, 1977-dated, top fr. pastedown, otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked. Price-clipped jacket in protective sleeve as acquired, fairly heavy tanning to back edges, rubbing to sp.ends. A centenary account of the Great Exhibition of 1851. 17.5 cm x 22 cm.
