Visits to Pacific Islands where some of the great battles of WWII were fought to see how they've fared in the 25 years after the war ended. Battles are reviewed to see what caused current issues (1970). Those that still have military bases often in the worst shape, filled with jerry-built structures and full of hustlers and whores catering to the military. Those without have often lapsed into backwaters occasionally visited by tourists.
