About This Item
New York: Macmillan, 1935. 1st ed. . Green Cloth. VG-Fine for Age/Good+ for age. 14.5 Cm x 22 Cm. x+138+errata slip, 34 text figs inc. 6 (I make it) leaves. ex-pagination, most with images on both sides; previous owner's 1948-dated sig. top front endpaper otherwise exceptionally good for age: clean, tight, unmarked and in bright unworn covers, clipped jacket has no major damage but faint brown strip across top front and fore-edges, spine slightly darkened, several minor edge-nicks and rubbings plus several internally closed tears, two of some length, slight crease lines across bottom front, generally clean (will add protective sleeve when ordered). Issued in 'Experimental Biology Monographs' series, apparently the first title in this. Evidently scarce. 'Pacemakers' here are physiological 'continuous controlling mechanism' of various kinds, this is a physiological/neurological work though has bearings on physiological psychology. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
