London: William Heinemann, 1933. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Good+. 8vo; t.e.g., green cloth, upper board blocked in gilt, vellum back lettered in gilt, bevelled boards, green silk marker. Copy #367 of 375. Boards a bit bowed, as often the case. Laid in is a Galsworthy pamphlet from 1912, For Love of Beasts, original wraps, chipped along edges. Although nothing here explicitly indicates as much, these copies from the library of Galsworthy's friend, the publisher, Nelson Doubleday. Doubleday purchased a controlling stake in the English publishing house, Heinemann, in 1921.
