Toronto: Collins, 1944. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good. 5 1/2 x 8 in. Dark blue cloth with red spine lettering. Condition is VERY GOOD ; corners and ends of spine bumped, almost no shelf wear. Covers faintly dam-spotted. Binding tight and text bright with foxing to endpapers and PO's bookplate on front pastedown. DJ is GOOD ; bot price-clipped, edges worn and chipped, small tears at corners and ends of spine, long closed tear at front, ovrall rubbed with spine quite sunned. This is a true first, the Canadian edition, the author being Canadian. Fiction. Stax.
