Jacket has some scuffing and wear. Original $6.95 price crossed out and replaced with an inked $4.95. INSCRIBED on title-page by Murray ("For Yvette Who can handle the complexities of the blues and [?]"). Yvette Le Roy, the inscribee, was a New York librarian who had owned Liberty House, a bookshop in Harlem between 1969 and 1979, which offered a place during that decade for a lot of African American authors, probably including Albert Murray, to promote their books.
