Boston, Mass: Mr. Boston Distiller, 1953. 11th Printing. Hardcover. Very Good. Red pebbled boards with oval color cameo (1 3/4" x 1 3/8") paste-on, on front and titles in (dulled) gilt. Small octavo [7x4.5 inches]. Titles a little dull, cameo bright,if peeling a wee bit. Very light general wear, textblock square, binding tight. 160 pages, illustrated endpapers. Sixteen pages illustrate individual cocktails in color, also another sixteen pages with color illustrations of Mr. Boston brand liquors. "Beginning in 1935, the Guide has been endorsed, consulted, and considered a basic tool by both professional and avocational bartenders. In the 80 years that followed, the Guide was printed more than 11 million times, and held a place of honor on innumerable bars throughout the world." (Mr. Boston web location).
