Best known for her highly acclaimed 1935 biography of her pioneering father, Old Jules, who was a friend of the Sioux. 319 pgs. Selections of prose narratives in this anthology are from The Beaver Men, Crazy Horse, Cheyenne Autumn, The Buffalo Hunters, The Cattlemen, Old Jules, and, These Were the Sioux, rounded off by unpublished pieces.
