London: John Murray, 1914. Cloth. Very Good Indeed. 9" by 6". None. A very smart and highly illustrated work regarding old English plate. The tenth edition of the work, first published in 1878. With 133 illustrations, and upwards of 2700 facsimiles of plate marks. Wilfred Joseph Cripps was a well known antiquarian and expert on antique silver plate. He wrote a number of works on the subject, with this relating specifically to English plate. In the original green cloth binding. Externally very smart with slight shelf wear to the extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with marginal age toning to the extremities. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
