Includes the following: Volume 4, Numbers 5, 9, and 12, May, September, and December, 1859; Volume 6, Numbers 1, 9, and 10, January, September, and October, 1861; in all six issues. "Designed particularly for Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Western Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania - but having a circulation that now extends all over the United States." A good overview of the state of agriculture in the years just prior to, and in the early days of, the Civil War..
