About This Item
The Author, 1989. Very good/Pictorial boards. 8vo. 230 x 175mm, 120 pages. Colour photos, odd sketches. Book condition: Very good, clean pictorial boards, slight fade to spine and adjacent cover, tight binding, no inscriptions, small circular stamp of Norwich Museums Library on endpaper. Pictorial boards. Comments: An unusual history, privately published, of the details behind the Ogilvies Collection of cased British birds collected by Fergus Ogilvie, many prepared (taxidermy) by Thomas Gunn of Norwich and ultimately presented to Ipswich Museum. Particular noteworthy that many examples within the collection 'collected' from the Suffolk coastal strip Dunwich to Aldeburgh? A pretty rare book, few available!. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Pictorial Boards. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
