In the original French.A collection of the poetry of Alfred de Musset, this volume including 'Rolla', 'Les Nuits', 'Poesies Nouvelles' and 'Contes en Vers'.Musset was a French poet, dramatist, and novelist, and one had an affair with George Sand.Illustrated with three plates by Maillart.Edited by Edmond Bire. Volume II in the 'Oeuves Completes de Alfred de Musset' set of a total of nine volumes.Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of Oxford Libraries. In a quarter marbled calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart, with only a little very light rubbing to the boards and spine. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only a few scattered spots, mostly to the first and last few pages. Very Good Indeed
