Green buckram covered boards. Bindings square and tight. Minimal handling wear. Minor sunning to spine. Text clean. 8vo; 24cm; 9.5 inches tall; 412 pages. Illustrated.. "The expedition crossed the Rocky Mountains by the Yellow Head Pass, journeyed along the north Thompson River to Kamloops, and from there to Yale and the Pacific."
The author was secretary to Sir Sandford Fleming, Chief Engineer of the Canadian Pacific Railway during the time the railway route to the Pacific was being surveyed. This work is a record of the everyday travels and adventures of the survey party as they journeyed across the Continent.
