About This Item
London: Trubner & Co, 1869. Pamphlet. 48p., sewn booklet, softbound in 8.5x5.5 inch plain printed wraps. The negative condition most noticeable here is its dustiness; margins of front cover are grey with dust-soil, back cover is entirely darkened, as are the text-block edges. A handleable copy, the threads are unbroken but an eighth-inch gap is developing at pp.16/17 accompanied by an inch-long tear to head of spine panel. An artist's eraser-bag might help relieve the inevitable dirt-repulsion. Item is structurally complete: with all faults, as is.
