Illustrated with a vignette title page, and a few in-text engravings.Originally written in Italian by Luigi Tansillo.Translated into English by William Roscoe.Bookseller's label and school library label to the front pastedown. In a full calf binding. Externally, generally smart. Minor marks and a little discolouration to the boards and spine. Light wear to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small cracks to the joints. A small amount of loss to the spine label. Hinges are starting but firm. Bookseller's label and school library label to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some odd spots. Very Good
