Original full leather boards with gilt decorations to spine and raised bands, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled, b&w illus vignette title pages, some volumes further engraved illustrations (Adam Bede, Mill on the Floss, Silas Marner/Clerical Life, Felix Holt). Boards rubbed, particularly with some loss to upper label Daniel Deronda. Good condition. A complete set of George Eliot's illustrated novels, bound in matching leather bindings. Volumes three and four bound together. Eight works bound in seven volumes. Full leather.
