She is best known for her thirty-two volume series featuring retired governess and professional P.I. Miss Maud Silver. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart, with light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Front hinge is a little strained but remains firm. Aged tape to the paste downs. Dust wrapper is a little with, with chips to the head of the spine, and a larger amount of loss to the tail. Tears to the spine and joints,, smaller tears to the fly leaves. Dust wrapper is a little age-toned with some light marks. Small tide mark to the head of the rear wrap. One tape repair to the reverse. A little wear to the reverse of the front fly leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Good
