Kelseyville, CA: Fred A. Stindt, Publisher, 1988. First edition, second printing . Hardcover. Signed by Stindt on the title page, inscribed later in different pen, "To Deb and Carol! With all good wishes!." Coming into being in 1907 as the ultimate consolidation of some forty railroad companies, the Northwestern Pacific was the creation of two of the giants of western railroading: Southern Pacific and Santa Fe. 176 pages with numerous photographs, maps, rosters and index, plus additional page, 177, with updates to October 1988. Small puchase date on upper corner reverse front free endpaper. Fine in near fine, bright dust jacket with two tiny tears.
