This volume of poetry is written on some of the cities of Italy.the poems beautifully capture the character and quality of these cities north of Rome, including Genoa, Verona, Bologna and Florence. Richard Church was an English writer and poet. Accompanied by illustrations by Michael Ayrton. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely. A previous owner inscription to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. In the original unclipped dust wrapper which is very smart with some light chipping to the head and tail of the spine and some fading to the spine. Very Good Indeed
