Westchester County from the northern reaches of NYC: Jonas Bronck, King's Bridge and Philipse Manor to Sunnyside and Washington Irving country, Eastchester and the haunts of Anne Hutchinson. 54 lovely sepia-toned photographs by Chamberlain. A clean, well-bound copy. Bookplate on front pasted endpaper and neatly penned gift inscription on front free endpaper, both dated 1951. Otherwise a clean, unmarked copy. In green cloth cover with gilt titling on spine - cover clean with light shelf rub - top front corner bumped with board showing. Binding and hinges firm and intact. Unclipped pictorial jacket is clean but edge worn with tiny tears and creases, tears and scuffing along flap folds, chips from top of spine and top front flap fold. 5-1/2 x 8-1/4"; [xi] + 181 pp..
