About This Item
New York: Simon and Schuster, 1973 First U.S. printing, white boards with black and white and colour illustrations by the author. DJ is unclipped and would have been near fine, but the front panel now has a one h tear to the dye cut oval and there are some small stains also. White boards with matte black lettering and an oval vignette in colour on front board which is warped and has outer edge turned up at about 20 degrees. Clean and crisp interior no writing or marks. Personally, I don't get this book, which seems to be a slangy paraphrase of Shakespeare's plays with a lot of cartoonish illustration, but perhaps someone out there remembers it fondly.
