Some insect soiling to upper textblock fore-edge and top; light toning to edges of leaves. Very good in a near fine, unclipped jacket, lightly crumpled at spine ends. Signed by Oliver above her name on title page; also signed, inscribed, and dated in year of publication by Oliver to the ffep. A signed, presentation copy of this book gathering work from the first eight books by the late American poet Mary Oliver (1935-2019), with thirty new poems published only here; a monumental volume which won the 1992 National Book Award for Poetry. Inscribed by Oliver to poet Neva Johnson Herrington (1926-2024), a part-time instructor at Sweet Briar College, where Oliver was writer-in-residence at the time of this book's publication, and where she inscribed this copy to Herrington.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.

We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
