About This Item

New York: Payson & Clarke Ltd, 1928. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good +. A sharp, very pleasing copy of the 1928 1st edition of one of the early Bibles of Modernism. Tight and Near Fine (just a touch of light offseting along the rear panel's top-edge) in a bright, VG+ dustjacket, with very light soiling to the panels and mild creasing along the edges. Tall quarto, dedicated to Frank Lloyd Wright, who also wrote the Foreword. Over 100 crisp black-and-white plates following Paul Frankl's seminal text.
