Conditie: 8 Only half title "Historie der Polypen en andere kleine water-insecten" in part 3 is not bound in this copy, landwehr mentions 358 plates in the 4 parts, we count 357 because this half title has a plate no. LXXII. 4 parts in 8 volumes illustrated with 3 engraved titles, 357 engraved plates portret of the author, printed 1765-1782. Without the later issued scarce supplement (after 1787). This first dutch edition is said to be Coloured by hand by Kleemann and his wife katharina Barbara Roesel von Rosenhof(Landwehr 161). Uniformly bound copy printed on a very good quailty paper. 8 No of Bindings Binding: Contemporary Half Leather
