Marx Law Library, with library label on covers and stamps to title page. Signed on the half title "Respectfully presented by the author R. J. Holaind." Father René J. Holaind (1836-1913) was a Professor of Ethics and Sociology at Woodstock College, and a Lecturer on Natural Law at Georgetown University.
