About This Item
Pub by Houghton Mifflin, Riverside Press, Cambridge, 1889. Red cloth binding with gilt stamping, top page edges gold. This is the Standard Library Edition of this remarkable set of books, but never saw duty in a library. There's some very slight bumping of the corners; two volumes have small tears at the top of the spine where they've been pulled from a shelf; some minor marks on the covers; the bottoms of the spines are mildly faded; the bindings are tight, hinges solid, and pages in perfect condition. You'll seldom find a complete set of Winsor's History of America in this condition.Because there are 8 volumes, S&H will be higher than the standard 1-book charge. .
