Titlepagein red and black. 407p. Illustrated with 16 fullpage mounted original photographs of drawings by David Roberts. All plates are scenes of places in the Holy Land - Nazareth, Jerusalem, Siloam, Jaffa, Jericho and so on. No hinges cracked. only light edge wear on cover. Contemporary owner signature "Rosemary G Manning. " Near Fine. Quite Scarce in the original first edition. .
