DJ: Fair; missing piece at top of spine; chipping and missing small pieces along bottom edge of DJ. Green paper with vertical grain orientation on boards and spine; bright black lettering on the spine and front board. Clean internals. Interior hinges are sound and not split. 280 pp 8vo. The mysterious crash of an airplane excites the curiosity of Al and Bob Wright and their friend Curt Brown. The lads are detailed by the Wright boys' father, a detective, to solve the mystery of the plane wreck, as well as to discover the explanation of other strange happenings in the Tredway Aircraft Corporation's plant. After many false starts and exciting adventures on land and in the air, the boys pin the crime on a disloyal employee, who confesses and is placed under arrest as a result of the clever work of the boys. A clean presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
