Signed and inscribed by Mr. Muskie on the front flyleaf: "5/18/72 To Michael Thomas with the best wishes of a friend, Edwin Muskie." Firm binding; no loose pages. Book and dust jacket with minor wear. Some discoloration to boards. Lightly tanned pages. Dust jacket with minor wear, with sticker damage on spine. Dust jacket now encased in a clear, protective cover.
