A FIRST (British) EDITION, Second Printing, from 1951,this hardcover 12mo (5" x 7.5") is in Near Fine condition: has a small EX-LIB bar code to ffep & evidence of removed card pocket to same page. Two bookplates in front matter are only deviations from Fine: very clean, binding strong & straight, pages off-white with age-appropriate tanning, heavy offsetting to all endpapers. Corners crisp. The bottom-price-clipped DJ, with fantastic midcentury cover art (Unattributed) is VG+, with noticeable rubbing to all extremities & light soil to back cover.
