London: Bradbury Agnew & Co undated but pre 1900. blue cloth dec in gilt and black and red with horse and hounds design, gilt titled spine includes 'Jorrock's edition' and 'John Leech'. half title has been neatly removed, cloth rubbed to tips and small splits at ends of spine joints, front hinge cracked, former owner HENRY HEARN 80 CAVE TERRACE REDCLIFFS (New Zealand) rubberstamp to paste down, title, contents, list of illustrations, ink name and stamp to pp1, and at least once more in the text, some minor fingermarks, covers slightly soiled by handling. still tight copy, the top edge is untrimmed. hand-coloured frontis present but the guard is missing, 405pp, line illustrations throughout the text as well as plates. . reprint. Decorative Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by John Leech. 8vo - over 7? - 9? tall.
