Synopsis

James Houston was born in Sydney, Australia in 1965. His three previous books, Raw, Rawmoves (Fine Arts Press/Craftsman House, 1997 and 1999, respectively), and One Yogamoves (Jamie Durie Publishing, 2005) all focus on the human body. His work has been exhibited extensively throughout Australia, Asia, and Europe. Now living in New York, Houston’s eye for beauty and form is requested by clients such as Donna Karan, Givenchy Paris, Interview magazine, American Vogue , and celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Kirsten Dunst, Elle MacPherson, and Christy Turlington. World-famous actor Hugh Jackman has starred in the X-Men trilogy, Someone Like You, Swordfish, Kate and Leopold , for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe, Standing Room Only , and Van Helsing . He has had many lead roles on Broadway as well, in such productions as Beauty and the Beast, Sunset Boulevard, and Oklahoma! Recently his work in The Boy From Oz earned him a Tony Award, for Best Actor in a Musical. His production company is slated to produce several films in the next year, including the X-Men spin-off Wolverine.
