Signed presentation from Ford to journalism professor and author Richard Petrow: "For Rich Petrow With best wishes from a friend and admirer and fellow newspaperman. Jesse Hill Ford". Petrow, an award-winning author, documentarian, and archetypal New York City newsman, taught in New York University's department of journalism from 1971 and retired in 2002. He oversaw the creation of the department's graduate program. He also spent many years as a radio writer and producer. He died in 2017. 8vo., black cloth in dust jacket; 342 pages.
