Berkley Publishing Corporation, New York, 1978. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good/Fair. Illustrator: Jerry Cosgrove -- Front Cover. 376pp., last 3 blank. Beige coloured cloth with gilt writing on the spine. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and there is staining to the extreme edges of the spine as well. Dust marks another marks to the top paper edge and there are some grubby marks to the lower paper edge. Illustrated dust wrapper, by Jerry Cosgrove, with red and black writing in front panel and spine. Chipping to the dust at the corners, and the lower right-hand corner has been repaired with tape (tape still in situ). There is tape as well to the full-length of the top dust wrapper edge and half of the lower dust wrapper edge, again tape still in situ. The tape has started to discolour. There are various creases and rubbings to the dust wrapper as well. Dust wrapper is somewhat "loose" around the book. The front fold over is creased and price clipped, on the top right-hand corner. The sequel to "Walk to the End of the World". In this book the author "moves to another geographic location in the same future world and chronicles the adventures of Alldera, the escape slave, among the plain-dwelling women of the motherline tribes.".
