The front board in full colour. Green cloth spine. In the rare original dustwrapper which is split along the spine and in two pieces, held together by a wrapper protector. Thumb sized piece missing from the middle of the spine and front panel but overall the wrapper is in very good condition. A rare survivor.:

A clean and tight copy in original publishers delux full purple suede binding with oversized yapp edges. Gilt lettering on the spine. Front board with black lettering. All edges gilt. Previous owners neat name on the front free endpaper otherwise a fine and bright copy of this pretty book.

Owner's name, date, address and ""yosemite - 43"" to top of ffep. A small rectangular stain to bottom of ffep where something was laid in place for a while, also tape stains(not scars) to top and bottom of endpapers - assuming where protected jacket rested. Bug hole to top inside of front hinge and rear hinge is beginning to split at top, but still solid. Interior and exterior very clean otherwise. Jacket is very nice with just a few small chip/nicks to spine ends, corners and top edge of flaps, and two 1/2 inch closed tears to top of rear panel and top of rear flap. Later edition/printing based on date of book advertised on rear flap and owner's date - 1925 at the earliest. Three period photos from previous owner laid in.
