Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 415pp. Over 500 photographic plates illustrate the tricks that are explained in the text of this book. Introduction by Charles Bertram. Gilt embossed vignette and lettering to the front board and spine of the book. Slight fading to the cloth spine. Significant rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and the edges of the boards with several nicks to the tail of the spine and one slight nick to the edge of the front board. A couple of paper plates have been applied to the front pste down with a neat ink inscription written on the topmost one. Some splitting between pages 16 and 17, yet the book remains relatively tight and firm with only a slightly tender front part of the book. Small 1 cm tear to the edge of the contents page. Apart from the very occasional fox spot, the book is internally clean. A well preserved copy fo this well illustrated book.
